There are reasons why these challenges arise in Quickbooks Online settings, lfalconellc. I've got some buckets of solutions to resolve this.

Beforehand, may I know if you received an error message while updating your company address? This way, I can identify what solution to provide for this issue.

Conversely, this issue occurs due to access permissions or minor browser concerns. To resolve this, consider checking your user permissions. Otherwise, we may need to contact your administrator for further assistance.

See how to view or edit a user role.

  1. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Manage Users.
  2. Select the Users tab, then find the user you want to edit.
  3. Select Edit from the Action column.
  4. Choose from the existing custom or QuickBooks roles.
  5. Select Save. If you edit permissions after selecting the role, Enter a Role name and description, then Save the Role.

If you've tried the steps above and you're still getting the same behavior, let's perform browser troubleshooting steps by accessing your account using a private browser.

Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

After that, clear the browser's cache to remove its stored files and ensure the program performs efficiently.

Additionally, here's an article to learn more about the various user roles available in QBO: User roles and access rights in QuickBooks Online.

Keep me posted if you have more concerns regarding your company settings in QuickBooks Online. I'm here to guide you whenever you want it.
