Welcome to the QuickBooks Community, kwolck. I appreciate you performing some steps to fix the importing issue you encountered. I can see that things have been challenging for you when managing your bank data in QuickBooks Online. Let's ensure this is resolved.

Beforehand, may I ask which specific bank are you using, or did you receive a particular error when uploading entries using .qbo file? I appreciate any further details so I can present accurate information.

Please know that there are no changes or updates in QBO when importing bank transactions. Using a .qbo file is still possible on our end because it is designed particularly for QuickBooks. The process may fail due to changes in your financial institution or any requirement to authenticate your identity for security concerns.

For the time being, I recommend signing in to your bank's website and checking for messages, alerts, or updates. This is to determine whether your bank is undergoing maintenance or experiencing server issues.

Furthermore, you can also utilize the .csv file when syncing your bank transactions if you still experiencing the same issue. This this to ensure you can import efficiently and organize them properly in QBO.

Then, in case the problem continues to occur, you have to contact our QuickBooks Support Team. They have the tools to pull up your account and deeply investigate the cause of the issue, then report this matter and get it fixed as soon as possible.

Lastly, click on this article if you need help reviewing your downloaded transactions by matching or adding them in QBO: Categorize online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

You can always add a comment below if you still have concerns about uploading entries in QBO. I'll get back to you, kwolck. Have a good one!
