I hear your sentiments, Robert. Please know that I'm here to help you resolve the issue of connecting your bank to QuickBooks. We'll work  together to find a solution.

To begin with, please provide me with the name of the bank you are attempting to connect to. It's important to note that certain financial institutions may not support bank feeds. As a result, I recommend that you reach out to your bank to inquire about any notifications or issues.

If your bank does not support bank feeds, you may submit a support request.

To set you on the right path, allow me to provide you with the necessary steps:

  1. Go to Transactions
  2. Select Bank transactions.
  3. Choose Connect account.
  4. Search for the name of your bank. If QuickBooks is unable to locate your bank, you'll receive a message saying "Hmm, we can't find [the name of your bank] in our list of supported banks." Don't worry, you'll be presented with helpful tips to try to locate your bank.
  5. If you still can't find your bank, select Request
  6. Enter your bank's web address (URL), and then select Request

Once you've successfully connected your bank, I recommend categorizing your downloaded bank transactions. This helps you easily identify and match transactions in your bank statement with your account during reconciliation.

For future reference, you may refer to this article to guide you in reconciling your accounts for accurate financial records and to prevent discrepancies: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.

If you need further assistance with connecting your bank or any other QBO processes, please let me know. I'm here to help. Take care.
