I can help you resolve the issue with the discrepancy so you can get back on track, tcr4ever39.

Let's verify that the amount and date of the transaction you transferred from the main account to the subaccount are accurate.

Additionally, transferring an amount from the parent account to the sub-account affects the ending balance of your last reconciliation, which causes the discrepancy. This action will also undo the reconciled transactions.

To fix this, we can manually reconcile the transaction from the sub-account register. I'll guide you on how:

  1. Go to the Settings menu on the left pane.
  2. Proceed to the Chart of Accounts.
  3. Locate the sub-account, click View register, and look for the transaction.
  4. Under the Reconcile (βœ“) column, click the blank field continuously to mark the transactions as reconciled (R).
  5. Hit Save and select Yes to confirm.

For additional information about how to complete the reconciliation process, please refer to this article.: Learn the reconcile workflow in QuickBooks.
