Hello,

I am trying to follow the directions jenop2 posted regarding how to connect an existing bank account that already exists in the Chart of Accounts. I have done this incorrectly in the past, using the Link Account button in the Bank Transactions tab but it created a ton of duplicates and a lot of extra work to rectify.

The instructions just above in this thread say to go to the Chart of Accounts, find the appropriate account, click the dropdown next to View Register and choose Connect bank. When I view that dropdown however, the only choices are Edit, Make Inactive, and Run Report.
Could someone correct/update these instructions? How do I connect a bank feed to an existing bank account in the Chart of Accounts without duplicating the account?
