Welcome back to this thread, erik19.

Disconnecting a bank account may download duplicate transactions. Learn more about this by visiting this link: Disconnect or delete accounts connected to online banking.

Before we proceed with the process, make sure to add and match all the pending transactions on the Banking page. Know that disconnecting the automatic online banking updates will delete any transactions in the For Review tab.

After that, follow the steps shared by ToriB to disconnect the account.

Then, here are steps on how to reconnect your bank:

  1. Go to your bank's website and log in to your account.
  2. Copy the URL.
  3. Log in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
  4. On the Banking page, click on Add account.
  5. In the search field, paste the bank's URL.
  6. Under results, click on the bank
  7. Enter your username and the updated password. Click on Connect.

You can also check out this article for a visual guide: How to use Online Banking, Connect Bank Accounts, and Review your Bank Feed in QuickBooks Online.

I've added a handy article on what's next after connecting your bank account in QBO: Assign, categorize, edit, and add your downloaded banking transactions.

Of course, you're always welcome to visit us again if you need help while working with QuickBooks online banking. It will be my pleasure. Stay safe and have a great day ahead.
