Buy nowI'm doing this, but I think there's a glitch because it was working fine a week or two ago. While I'm entering the details of the deposit, the top account field is already populated with the account name. In my case I'm working in the "checking" register. Then below, it says "received from" and next to that field is another field for "account." There's no other option than to put my account (checking) again. But when I go back to the list of transactions after I've saved the entry, the entry is canceling itself out. Basically, this one deposit entry comes up as a deposit AND a debit too, and I get a balance of zero. The two "account" fields are populating with the same thing so it looks like the deposit is coming in one account and then going out the same account. But there are no other options than to choose "savings" or another bank account. It's as though the "deposit" button is supposed to say "transfer." Help, please!
