So, Archie_B, you're implying that a CSV file can duplicate all the functions of an IIF file? I'm looking for the detailed documentation on how to do that. I haven't found it yet, would you please include a link to the docs?

I understand I can use third-party applications to convert my IIF files, but this simply looks like some sort of scam where Intuit agrees to not develop (do the right thing) the fundamental function to bring QB on the web closer to a real program. Is someone paying Intuit off for this or is there kickback from the third-parties? Why would I want to pay someone else for the right to import data into QB online when the desktop version is closer to a real program? This is no big deal for Intuit to code this functionality, so there has to be some reason, likely greed, for not doing it.
