We are delighted to welcome you today, @lucydev. Rest assured, we will guide you through reissuing an expired payroll check in QuickBooks Online (QBO) Payroll without any impact on your tax reports.

Before anything else, please know you'll need the original check number, amount, and date to complete the rest of the steps. These are the steps to get you going:

  1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Go to Payroll, then select Employees.
  3. Select Paycheck list.
  4. Update the check number with a new check number.
  5. Select Save and Close.

For further guidelines, please see this page: Replace a lost or expired paycheck.

Moreover, here are some articles to help you in case you wish to print a check or keep track of your payroll data inside QBO:

The Community team encourages you to comment below if you have follow-up questions about this or need help handling paychecks inside QuickBooks. Have a good one.
