I'm very confused by this as I've never run into a software that will run on Windows 10 which will not run on Windows 11. They are almost identical operating systems where Windows 11 was mostly a UI update and some deeper security enhancements.

My client has been running QuickBooks Pro Desktop 2012 R14 on her Windows 10 machine for many years now without any issues whatsoever. Recently she had the need to upgrade her computer for other reasons and I'm now trying to install QuickBooks Pro Desktop 2012 R14 or R16 on the new computer running Windows 11. The problem I'm running into is that it tells me the License or Product # is incorrect and I know that is not true as I see it clearly when pressing F2 in her existing installation on the old computer to show the Product Information.

I imagine this isn't because of Windows 11 as I've also tried running the installer in Compatibility Mode. Is there any way around this issue as she is not interested in purchasing a subscription service for a product that she already owns.
