PRICE RULES - NOT WORKING PROPERLY (In Quickbooks Enterprise Desktop - version 21)
I have added price rules to each customer and each customer job. When I create an invoice and enter items, it works fine – the correct price for an item automatically is entered onto the invoice based on the customer I am working with.
When I use “TIME AND COST” the price rule does not work:
- I enter a bill for an item purchase
- I tag the item to a customer
- I use the TIME AND COST to pull the items onto the customer invoice
- The correct price does not reflect. It defaults to the base price. At this point I have to manually enter the correct pricing.
- The odd thing is that it IS reading the rule because if I select the red exclamation to look at the price options, the ONLY price to select is the correct price.
(This completely defeats the purpose of setting up pricie rules.)
Can anyone help?
