Hello there, Julie. Let me share some details of your concern about the bank detail not displaying transaction numbers in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Due to Chase Bank's recent enhancement of its security protocols, they have decided to no longer include transaction numbers in the downloaded data. While this change might initially seem inconvenient, it is a proactive measure taken by the bank to ensure the utmost security of your financial information.

I understand that the transaction numbers have been a valuable reference point for managing your finances within QuickBooks Online (QBO). To help you continue effectively managing your transactions, I recommend reaching out to your bank to have them notified of your insights/feedback.

Additionally, I'll also share this article to serve as your reference in making sure that your accounts always match your bank and credit card statements in QBO: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.
