Hi, @Ty00

Thanks for reaching out to us. I'm here to share some details about importing list from Excel to QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) 2016.

You should be able to export the report since QBDT 2016 is compatible with Office 365. Since you've encountered an error while importing the list,  it can be due to the following:

  • Excel is not installed on your computer.
  • It's installed across a network.
  • The local Excel installation is damaged.
  • QuickBooks is an outdated version.

If Excel is installed on your computer and there are no issues. You can also check the format when importing list. If the issue persists, we could have tried to update QuickBooks to the latest release.  However, 2016 QuickBooks is an outdated one, and it won't receive any updates.

If you'd like to upgrade your QuickBooks Desktop to the latest version and continue to enjoy online services and importing data, you can check this article for more details: Upgrade your QuickBooks Desktop subscription.
