All the strings I saw on the Community wall indicated they still had the same issue even with QB 2023 under Sonoma.

QB Desktop 2019 has outdated since June 2022. I believe they won't release any patch for QBD 2019 to support Sonoma. You can install QBD 2021 without a license to open your company file up to 15 times "opening" But you will need a workaround to reset the counter back to 15 times again for good.
