Yes, @jiminok. Let me walk you through the process of re-installing the QuickBooks Point of Sale (POS) 19.0 so you can retrieve your data.

Before doing so, make sure your computer meets the system requirements  to guarantee the program runs seamlessly. Then, visit our Downloads & Updates page to download your version of POS.

Once done, follow these steps to install:

  1. Open the QuickBooks installation file on your desktop. Select Yes to All when prompted to overwrite the existing extracted files. Then, click Next.
  2. Read the License Agreement and select I accept the terms in the license agreement. Then, click Next.
  3. Enter your license and product number and click Next.
  4. Choose the type of installation: Only this computer or Two or more computers.
  5. If you choose to install on two or more computers, choose the type of workstation that this computer will be: Server workstation or Client workstation.
  6. Click Install to start the installation. Please note that the QuickBooks POS can only be installed in this file path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Intuit\QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale (version)
  7. When finished, activate the QuickBooks POS. You may also need to restart your computer and reopen QuickBooks to get started.

In addition, I'll share this article to help you export information in your file using MS Excel: Import and export data in QuickBooks Desktop.

We'd love to hear back from you if you need additional guidance in reinstalling your POS 19. I'll get back to you right away to continue assisting you. Take care, and have a good one.
