Let's perform some troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue you're experiencing when matching transactions, Katie.

The browser-cached data might be the reason why cleared transactions still appear as suggested matches on your bank feeds. To resolve this, I recommend opening your QuickBooks Online company on another supported browser.

Here's a list of supported web browsers:

  • Google Chrome: version 78 or newer
  • Mozilla Firefox: version 76 or newer
  • Microsoft Edge: version 79 or newer
  • Safari: version 12 or newer (Mac only)
  • Opera: version 68 or newer
  • Samsung: version 10 or newer

Afterwards, head to the Bank transactions page and match a transaction. If everything works smoothly and QuickBooks recognizes the appropriate matches to the transactions, you can go ahead and continue matching on the other browser.

For more info on matching transactions, you can check out this article: Match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

For future reference, here's a guide on ensuring your QuickBooks accounts match your real-life ones: Reconcile workflow.

Let me know how the troubleshooting goes, Katie. Don't hesitate to leave a comment below, and I'll be around for your other QuickBooks-related concerns.
