The option to set up a quantity pricing discount for average cost is unavailable, as the price level is based on a fixed amount or percentage. However, we can add a service item named a discount with a negative amount or percentage. After creating this, we can include it as an item on your invoices, displaying the total amount after the discount was added. Here's how we can create an item:

1. Go to Lists, and click Item Lists.
2. On the bottom left corner, select the Item dropdown and hit New.
3. Under Type, select Service for it to show on the item list for invoices.
4. For the Item Name, you can type discount or anything you want it to show.
5. In the Rate field, please enter the discount amount as a negative value or percentage.
6. Hit OK to save.
