You can directly filter the dates by going to the Expenses tab, Billy. Let me guide you further to help you achieve this in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.

Beforehand, it's essential to know that the dates you'll see when you hover in the Expenses tab are the default for the last 12 months.

To display expenses for the entire year of 2024, you can adjust the date filter by setting it from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024.

Here's how:

  1. On the left navigational panel, look for the Expenses tab.
  2. Select Filter.
  3. Set it from 2024/1/01 to 2024/12/31.
  4. Once everything's good, click Apply.

Additionally, I've got this article for you that can be handy in recording billable expenses moving forward: Enter billable expenses.

Lastly, to enhance the efficiency of your accounting practices and ensure impeccable financial records, I highly recommend considering QuickBooks Live Expert Assisted. This service provides direct support tailored to the strategic areas that drive business growth and success.

It's been a pleasure assisting you today, Billy. If you have any other questions as you navigate through QuickBooks Online or if there's anything else I can help you with, please don't hesitate to reach out. Wishing you a seamless experience as you organize and review your financials!
