This is not about "preferences." Modern view is garbage, and functionally doesn't work. A simple profit and loss can have multiple nested scroll bars in the report, and they print on the report! You can't even get the user interface correct in modern view, let alone the layout and information to report correctly. Don't even try to say this is about "preference," it's insulting to our intelligence.
