Script errors in QuickBooks occur when the commands can not be executed correctly due to some program issues. You can try configuring your Internet Explorer (IE). Before that, let's check the Internet Explorer's compatibility view and make it the default browser:
- In Internet Explorer, select the Gear icon at the top right.
- Select Tools and select Compatibility View settings.
- On the Compatibility View settings screen, check the Display all websites in Compatibility View box.
- Click Close.
Once done, follow the steps below to configure the browser:
- Open your Internet Explorer.
- From the Command Bar, select Tools.
- Select Internet Options, then select the Security tab.
- Click Trusted Sites, and click on Sites.
- In the Add, this website to the zone field, enter *.intuit.com and click on Add.
- In the Trusted sites window, uncheck Require server verification.
- Close the Trusted sites window, and uncheck Enable Protected Mode.
- Close the browser.
We can configure also your firewall security settings for Desktop. This is to make sure that internet access will go through without any problems.
