Thanks for the info, @dholley328.

Let's get your QuickBooks multi-user setup working. You'll want to download and run our QuickBooks Tool Hub. It has tools that fix problems related to the computer network (including Windows share).

Here's how to do it:

  1. Close QuickBooks.
  2. Download QuickBooks Tool Hub. Then, save the file on your Desktop.
  3. Open the file you downloaded (QuickBooksToolHub.exe). Follow the on-screen steps to install and agree to the terms and conditions.
  4. When the install finishes, double-click the icon on your Windows desktop to open the tool hub.
  5. From the launchpad, select Network Issues.

The tool will automatically download it in the background. Once it's completed, restart your computer. Then, have your other user access again the program. Learn more about the tool in this guide: Fix common problems and errors with the QuickBooks Desktop Tool Hub.

Additionally, please check your firewall and antivirus permissions. Make sure you give the Database Server Manager permission to run on your server computer.

About creating a new shared folder, here's the link for details: Set up folder sharing.

Don't hesitate to reply to this thread and let me know how it goes after trying the steps as I want to ensure this is resolved for you. Take care and stay safe.
