To categorize transactions by class, you'll need to activate class tracking. Here’s how:
- Navigate to Settings and click Account and Settings.
- Go to Advanced, then choose the Categories section to correct.
- Verify Track classes.
- Check the box Warn me when a transaction isn't assigned a class. This is optional, but it's a good idea to enable it so that when you look at reports, you can see that everything has been classed.
- From the Assign classes, choose One to whole transaction or One to each row in transaction.*
- Save, once Done.
