There is no need to use a PO for any type of inventory item purchase, whether a bill or credit card charge.

In this case, you can enter a bill for the items and then pay the bill using a credit card charge using the Pay Bills feature, or you an add the inventory items directly to a credit card charge transaction, much like you might to a check you write from your bank account for items.
