As of the moment, we're unable to alert employees when a manager modifies the timesheets in QuickBooks Time (QB Time). Only the manager can be notified when a team member edits timesheet notes or adjusts their clock-out time. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to Company Settings.
  2. Select Time Options and click the Time Entry tab.
  3. Check the boxes for Email group managers when team members add or edit timesheet notes and Email managers if their team members adjust their clock-out time.

When employees submit their timesheets, you can approve, disapprove, or reject them. Approving the displayed hours approves and locks all time data up to and including the chosen report dates.
