I'm here to provide clarity on setting a schedule in QuickBooks Time, pitilidie.

Yes, you can schedule your time in QuickBooks Time by assigning the Schedule option. However, you'll have to manually clock in and clock out to record the working hours.

To create the template:

  1. In your QuickBooks Time company, navigate to the Schedule menu on the left panel and select Full.
  2. Tap the Week drop-down and choose any of the following: DayWeekMonth.
  3. After setting up shifts to a weekly schedule, click the Save Week as Template button.
  4. Enter the name of the template and press the Save button.

To utilize the template, simply hover the Load Week Template and pick a template. Refer to this article to gain more insights about the process: Create, use, and manage weekly schedule templates for QuickBooks Time.

Our developers are always open to user input and ideas for adding new features and improving QuickBooks Time. I recommend submitting requests to integrate the automatic clock-in feature into the program. Follow these steps to send feedback:

  1. Click the question mark icon and choose Suggest Idea.
  2. Type a brief description of the feature you wish to add to the program.
  3. Press the Send Idea button to submit.
