We can toggle off the Make expenses and item billable option from your settings to ensure that your contractor won't see their billable rate, @jross1801. Allow me to help you in accomplishing this.

To ensure you can manage what your contractor can see when entering their timesheet, you can follow these steps:

  1. Open your QuickBooks Online.
  2. Go to the Gear icon, then Accounts and settings.
  3. Head to the Expense tab.
  4. From the Bills and expenses section, click the pencil icon to edit.
  5. Next, toggle off the Make expenses and item billable.
  6. Click Save and Done.

Afterwards, once your contractor adds their own time, they won't be able to see the billable rate for the services.

If you're looking to manage time off in QuickBooks Time, you can refer to this article for additional guidance: Set up and Manage Time Off in QuickBooks Time.

You can always drop by again if you have other questions about turning off billable rate in QuickBooks. We're always around to help.
