Since QuickBooks Online is a browser-based program, there's no way to launch it directly from your Windows PC task bar. However, with Google Chrome, you can create a website shortcut that can be launched this way to expedite your log-in process:
Create a Desktop Shortcut for QuickBooks Online
- Open your browser, sign in to QuickBooks Online, and shrink the window so that the Desktop can be seen behind it.
- To the left of the URL address bar, you'll see either a QuickBooks icon, a Lock icon 🔒, or an ⓘ.
- Drag whichever icon you see to your Desktop to create a shortcut.
