Hi there, @cddmoore. I appreciate you for performing the troubleshooting to pull up your Time Activities by Employee Detail Report accordingly.

 

It's unusual for reports to behave this way. I want to inform you that there's an ongoing investigation about users getting errors or issues while customizing the Time Activity by Customer Details Report. Our engineers are now working together to fix the issue as soon as possible. 

 

Other users get the desired customization by selecting Customize before any other option as it will allow you to customize right away. If you're getting the same result, I recommend reaching out to our Support Team. A representative can pull up your account securely and add your name or company to the list of affected users in the current investigation.

 

To contact support:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Go to the Help (?) menu.
  3. Select either tab to get started:
    • Assistant: Get quick, personalized answers. Select a suggested option, or type a question or topic you need help with. If you decide you need further help, you can still choose to Talk to a human.
    • Search: Search the QuickBooks Online knowledge base directly, or select Contact Us and choose a way to connect with support.

 

Once the issue is fixed, you can customize and access your report as before. You can use this resource as your guide: Run reports in QuickBooks Online.
