Hi there. I've got you covered, and I'll gladly answer your concern, so you won't have to worry about receiving your customer's invoice payment in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

If you only edited the customer's name you have on that invoice, you'll still receive the money. Also, if you access the paid invoice and choose a different customer inside it, you can still receive the invoice payment by linking it to that said customer invoice.
