I see you want to recover missing donations after migrating to QuickBooks Online, @valran. I'm here to ensure you'll get the data you need.

 

When migrating data from QuickBooks Desktop to QBO, some functionality, lists, items, and transactions aren't moved. Some might transfer, but the terms are different from the desktop version. You'll want to keep track of the donations manually. Follow these steps to do so:

 

  1. Edit your account type to a nonprofit organization.
  2. Set up a revenue account.
  3. Add a fund donation item.
  4. Add your donor as a customer.
  5. Lastly, record the fund donation.
