Buy now & saveI'm currently using QB Self-Employed and I can't seem to figure out how to categorize the work van that I purchased, in full, for conducting my business.
There's the category "other vehicle expenses" which a vehicle is an asset not an expense. Then there's "other tools and equipment - asset" but a vehicle is not a tool. I guess it could be considered equipment.
In the other versions of QB it seems like you can just create a new category then create a journal entry. But if I'm not mistaken, you can't do either with QB Self-Employed.
I appreciate any feedback, as I was unable to solve this problem via internet searches and live chat.
