I understand the urgency of fixing the issue with your new invoice layout. Let me share some helpful details about switching to your invoice layout in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

The newest QBO update will prompt customers to switch from the old invoice layout to the new one. If you're using QBO Essential, Plus, and Advance, you can change back to the old layout of invoices. However, if you're using QBO Simple Start, switching back to the old layout is no longer available.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the +New button.
  2. Under the Customers column, select Invoice.
  3. In the upper-right corner of the screen, click the Old Layout button.
  4. Read the prompt that will pop up on your screen.
  5. Once you're ready, click the Leave button.
