I understand the importance of bulk adjusting your inventory in QuickBooks Online, dchen16. I'd be glad to show you how.

Instead of making inventory adjustments line by line, we can create an Excel file for the items, make any necessary changes, and then upload the data, which would overwrite the previous entries. You can do this by following the steps below:

  1. Create an Excel file. You can download our sample file for reference.
  2. Once done, go to the Gear icon and then select Import data.
  3. Choose Products and services.
  4. Under Select a CSV or Excel file to upload, browse the one you've created, and click Next.
  5. Make sure the mappings are correct. Then, hit Next.
  6. In the Step 3 section, place a checkmark beside Overwrite all values for each product or service that you import with the identical name. (This can't be undone.) box.
  7. Once done, select Import.

I understand the functionality to make bulk adjustments within your account is beneficial to your business. I encourage sending a feature request directly to our Product Development team. Doing so helps us improve the features of the program. I'll show you how:

  1. Go to the Gear menu and then select Feedback.
  2. Type in your feature request in the description box.
  3. Once done, click on Next.
