Thanks for getting back here in the thread, @asid. We'll provide details to help you with your situation and locate a deleted bill inside the QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

Know that in QBDT, if you've already deleted the transactions, the CTRL+F option won't be able to track it down. In this case, you'll want to run the Audit Trail report to see the details of a deleted transaction so you can manually copy and recreate it inside your company file. We'll walk you through the process to help you address this situation. Here's how:

  1. Access your QuickBooks Desktop company.
  2. Go to the Reports menu, and then select Report center.
  3. In the Search bar, enter Audit Trail.
  4. Access the report and utilize the filter option to help you locate a deleted bill inside the program.
  5. Once you've found the bill, take note of the details inside it and then recreate the transaction.

In addition, you can visit this page to help you modify a report to highlight or add more details inside it: Customize reports in QuickBooks Desktop.

@asid, please don't hesitate to reach out anytime if you need further assistance managing bills or tracking transactions inside the program. As always, we'll be here to help you out again. Keep safe.
