I've got you covered, Torrey. I'll lay down the steps for using and assigning account numbers in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Assigning numbers to your accounts will help you with keeping them organized and easy to find. Let's enable this feature so you can utilize it. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to Settings, then select Chart of accounts.
  2. Choose the Advanced tab.
  3. Click the pencil icon in the Chart of accounts section.
  4. Enable the feature and make sure to place a checkmark in the Show account numbers box.
  5. Click Save and then Done.

If you want to view them from the Chart of Accounts page, please make sure to check the Number in the Settings above the Action column.

You may refer to this article for more information: Use account numbers in your chart of accounts in QuickBooks Online.

If you're referring to something else, please provide additional information or screenshots of what you want to achieve within your QBO account.

Additionally, check out this article to see different information on how the COA organizes your transactions so you know how much money you have and owe in each account: Learn about the chart of accounts in QuickBooks Online.

Please don't hesitate to let me know if you have additional questions about viewing account numbers in QBO. We're just around to provide the steps. Have a wonderful day ahead!
