Allow me to help you in resolving the email-sending issue with invoices in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).

 

To start, kindly verify the accuracy of the email address you are currently using or attempt to send the invoice using an alternate email address to help pinpoint the problem.

 

Moreover, despite trying the troubleshooting steps mentioned above and the issue persists, I recommend performing additional troubleshooting to determine if the problem is related to your web browser. The first step is to access your QBSE account in incognito mode. This mode does not retain cached files which could lead to unusual behaviours when running web-based applications. Here are the keyboard shortcuts for different browsers:

 

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

 

Then, try to see if the automatic emails and send button of the invoice are working. If this works, clear the cache of your regular browser to eliminate piled-up data. If the issue persists, you can use another supported browser or device. It might be that the current one you're using has a temporary issue with the program.
