I appreciate posting your class entries concern in the Community, Laperna. I'm here to share another way of transferring them from one bank account to another.

In QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), you can create a Journal Entry to move funds between bank accounts with their respective classes. Before doing so, I highly advise contacting your accountant to be guided, as this involves adding and reorganizing your records and books in QBDT.

If you don't have an accountant, you can find one by visiting this webpage: Find a QuickBooks ProAdvisor.

Here's how you can create a Journal Entry:

  1. Choose Company at the upper panel Menu.
  2. Go to Make General Journal Entries.
  3. Enter the necessary information needed.
  4. Once done, Save & Close

For additional information about creating a Journal Entry and its grounds upon making, you can check out this article: Create a journal entry in QuickBooks Desktop for Windows or Mac.

Additionally, you might also want to visit this material if you are ready to reconcile your accounts in QBDT: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Desktop.

Don't hesitate to return to this post and create a thread if you have additional questions about transferring your multiclass entries between banks in QBDT, Laperna. The Community is always here to answer your queries.
