I realize this is over a year old.. But i have just gone down this same road with Quickbooks desktop 2022. Remote screen share support agent couldn't figure it out. I ended up getting it on my own while on hold with the screen share agent. I was emailed this case as a result of that phone call. Since it appears there is still no solution posted here, I figured I would do customer service's job and share the solution. The solution is to use an email service other than the quickbooks email service. You can find this option under Edit>preferences>send forms. Under "Send e-mail using" make sure Web Mail is selected instead of the quickbooks email service. Then you must add your email that your invoice will be sent from in the "Email ID's" box located in the same window. Click add, select your email service (we used gmail) and login with your email credentials. We did this and now our company file name is no longer displayed in the email when sending invoices to customers and paystubs to employees. It's kind of funny too because now the invoices even look more appealing with a clean border on them in the email. If you have multiple PC's using quickbooks, you will need to do this on each PC. This is a pretty concerning bug caused behind the scenes with the quickbooks email service. We don't want to share our company file name with every employee and client. You need to fix that, INTUIT!. I wont be holding my breath since this has been like this for several years now. Hope this helps if anyone else is struggling with slowbooks.
