Buy nowWe are able to pull "some" xls files but the larger reports HAVE to be csv or they crash while trying to export to Excel. Unfortunately in today's case I can't even pull the company GL for the year as CSV because it's over 32,769 rows which Intuit states is their "new limit" for excel. When I asked why Intuit had lower limits than Microsoft Excel's limits, they replied that it was to make the reports smaller and "more manageable". This has not made the reports more manageable. For the end user (us) we are forced to jump through all kinds of hoops to pull smaller periods, then spend countless hours trying to combine all the data including the sub-totals and totals where applicable. This issue began a few "updates" ago and after countless hours with our IT and Intuit, there seems to be no resolution. If someone wants their reports to be smaller, they should have the option within the system to do that...but Intuit should revert their program back to what it was before; meaning the Excel limits came from Microsoft, not Intuit. We are looking into 3rd party apps that may help us circumvent this issue, but honestly it's a shame that Intuit made this decision on behalf of all their consumers.
