Tae Jackson is a certified bookkeeping professional with over two decades of experience providing small businesses with accounting services. Tae recalls her first job, 14 at Dairy Queen, where she received her first paycheck. She'd cross-referenced the hours worked with her hourly rate and eagerly awaited payday. However, when payday arrived, there were discrepancies, and young Tae had questions – why? Of course, the answer was tax, and in that moment of curiosity, a future accountant was born. Curiosity turned to action as in high school senior year; accounting was one of the only open classes available. Tae was distressed at the thought but was pleasantly surprised when accounting turned out to be the only class where she achieved straight A's! Passionate about her newfound gift, Tae acquired an Associate Degree in Business & Accounting from Georgia State University and was keen to pour her learnings back into the community. Shortly after, Tae secured a bookkeeping role for a non-profit organization that provided housing for families in recovery from drug abuse. Since then, she has honed her skillset, gaining a unique perspective and experience in various sectors and situations. Not only is Tae experienced in all areas of taxation, but she has aided clients in eCommerce, retail, real estate, and non-profit to name a few. Tae has a passion for small business owners as she noticed this community's common problem: an inability to fully understand their finances and associated opportunities, meaning growth could have been more optimal. This realization and vision fuelled Tae to enter the world of small business owners herself, opening her bookkeeping and accounting business, StayOrganized. Tae is proudly following her dreams of catering to the needs and growth of small and medium-scale businesses across the US. She thrives when controlling her success and is driven to make each day count. Tae executes tasks with the utmost attention to detail and ensures organizational policy and procedure compliance. She is confident in establishing and maintaining internal and external relationships and has represented clients to the IRS, finance department, and other taxation agencies.
