Thanks for the prompt reply, I think your website, help options and help desk staff should all make it clear that the mobile app doesn’t include this option. The video introduction to QuickBooks suggests it does, showing people on the move billing clients. The app gives you the impression it does this as you get the option of linking an expense to a client. i certainly missed charging clients for expenses initially when I started using Quickbooks. I’ve looked at the blog but it only mentions what are planned soon, not a list of potential enhancements with expected date. Could you have a list of potential enhancements that users could add to with others indicating their support for them to prioritise development? I’d appreciate it if you could let me know when the app is going to be updated and whether I need to do anything. Do you have, or can you find out a timescale? Are we talking months or years?

When will QuickBooks update their mobile app so that you can bill expenses without having to go into the web application? I’d assumed that was the advantage of being able to add expenses on the move, you can identify the client but it doesn’t appear on their invoice unless you go into the web and update it. The help desk struggled with this and after an hour of trying things they spoke to the technical team who said it can’t be done on the mobile app.
