In regards to the password will save even if you select the Never option. There's a possibility that the Auto Sign-in turned on. To troubleshoot this, please follow the steps below:
- Select the three dots on your website, then select Settings.
- Under Autofill, choose Passwords.
- Turn off the radio button in the Auto Sign-in.
- Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete to clear the cache and cookies.
- Put a checkmark in the Password and other sign-in data.
- Tap Clear data.
Moving forward, your password or any credentials will not autosave.
