Cannot view Rates or Amount within reports. The option to select as a filter does not come up either.

Specifically, running a Time Activities by Client Detail report. I also go in to select/deselect columns and filters and they are not a option there either. Is not a permissions issue, all other co workers can view and we all have the same permissions.

Thanks for sharing the details with me, @userngallegos.

One possible reason why the option to select columns and filters it's because of local internet files. Sometimes the cache stores up in your system and causes issues in your web pages like functions inside your QuickBooks not working.

To isolate this, let's access your account via a private or incognito window. Here are the keyboard shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

If it works, we'll need to clear your regular browser's cache. This will remove all the pilled up data and make your browser to function efficiently.

However, if the issue persists, I recommend using other browsers. This way, we can also check if this a browser-related issue.

Thanks so much for your help. On several occasions, the QBs representatives had me clear my cache and also try the incognito window, as well as try Internet Explorer instead of Chrome. In  the customize options, I do not have "Amount" or "Rate" present in my filters to select. My coworkers are able to view, but I am not - and we all have the same permissions.

Hello there, @userngallegos.

I appreciate you for sharing the troubleshooting steps you've performed and their results.

You can check with your colleague and let them share the report with you. This way you can open the Time Activities by Customer Detail with Rates and Amount column.

Just share the steps below with your colleague:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. Search Time Activities by Customer Detail in the search bar.
  3. Enter all the needed information.
  4. Click the Save customization button.
  5. Under Share with then choose All.
  6. Click Save.

Once done, this will show in your Custom reports. For more information, check out this article: Memorize reports in QuickBooks Online.
