Change Primary Admin (QBO) - Primary admin is MIA!

I need urgent help changing my company's Primary Admin. 

The Primary Admin can no longer be contacted and we have no way of getting into her account.

 

Is there a way for me to get it changed? And if so, what information do I need to provide.

Hi, xzhang. Great news! You can still change the admin user even if the current admin is missing or unreachable. I can help you with the process.

 

If you need to transfer the role to yourself, you can request to be a primary admin by sending a request to our account protection team. If the role is to be changed to someone else (not you), have them do the process instead. Here's what to do:

 

  1. Gather documents for your request.
  2. Complete the form.
  3. Get ready to send your request by completing the form.

Can you still access your account as a Company Admin, not Primary Admin?

I spoke with QB Rep and he provided a link to a form to change the primary on the account.

 However when I provide the information, it takes me to PAYROLL rather than desktop.  We no longer use your payroll product... What do I do to get to the right product?
