Hello, @aga5.
I have here some basic troubleshooting steps to help us check why you're unable to change the user status.
Before that, make sure that you've currently logged in as a Company or Primary admin. Thus, you can modify the status seamlessly in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Once confirmed and the issue continues, please access your account via an incognito. A browser full of cache and temp files can cause unexpected behaviors.
Here are the shortcut keys:
- Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome)
- Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox)
- Control + Option + P (Safari)
- Ctrl + Shift + P (Microsoft Edge)
Once logged in, go back to the Manage Users tab, then modify the user status. If the private browser works, you'll need to delete temporary internet files in your regular browser. That'll remove previously stored browsing data that might have caused the issue. Using another supported browser is a good alternative too.
Additionally, you can always run the Audit Log report, then customize it. This way, you can track the user's activities from time to time.
To know more about how many user's can be added to your subscription and managing accounts in QBO, check out these articles below.
Keep in touch if you still need help with user's access or with QBO. I’ll be right here to assist further. Have a great day ahead.
