Hello,

Is there a way to change in bulk the payment method for a categorized expense?

I have about 450 items where the payment method is empty, and I need to change that to credit card.

That said, you might consider exploring the QuickBooks Apps store to find suitable apps for your business needs. Then, check their ratings and reviews to choose the one that best fits your business.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Apps menu.
  2. Select Finds Apps.
  3. Search for an app on the Find Apps to streamline your work field or click Browse Category to find a suitable app that works best for you.
  4. Once you have found an app, click it and then select Get App Now.

 

Also, you'll want to reach out to your accountant since they have tools that can reclassify multiple transactions. The reclassify tool will help you move transactions to similar accounts or change their classes. It might be faster to re-do them one by one rather than exploring apps and sharing sensitive information.

I watched the video you shared and that's for the categorization, it doesn't work for Payment Method.
