I just started my QBO business. I failed to create a subscription for my first client and unknowingly put all of their company transactions into my QBO business file. It's about 4 months worth of data that needs to be moved. How can I move all of their transactions into their client file and out of my business file?
I do not have any of my business transactions in my company file yet. My company file should be blank.
What can I do?
I'll share some options for moving transactions to your client's file, @amoses2.
Currently, we're unable to transfer data and transactions between accounts directly. However, we can export the lists and connect a bank account to download the transactions.

Additionally, if your data is less than 60 days, we can purge your account if you're using QuickBooks Online Plus, Essentials, and Advanced. The system deletes all data entered into the company, and restoring them isn't available.

However, if your data is worth 60 days, you'll have to cancel your subscription and resubscribe to create a new company.
To cancel the account:
Once done, please proceed to Step 2 under the If your books are 60 days old or older section in this article: Delete your data and start over in QuickBooks Online.
