I forgot to change the payment information for Quickbooks billing because we needed to close the credit card. I need to change the payment information to have the funds come out of the checking account. The email notification of payment not going through says I can change the method of payment but Quickbooks is not allowing me to make that change. HELP!!

You may need to reach out to a member of the QuickBooks Online Support Team. Once you're connected an agent will be able to assist you with updating the subscription payment info and can enter the info on their side if need be. Here's how to get in touch with the team:
1. Click the Help button in the top right corner.
2. Select Contact Us.
3. Enter Support in the field and choose Let's talk.
4. From here you can select to receive a callback at a time that's convenient for you, or begin a live chat session with an agent.

To edit the credit card for your subscription go to top right
and click on the tool wheel icon
Go to Account Settings then Billing & Subscription
You should see your QB Company ID number and to the right the payment info that is currently on file.
Click Edit and add the new payment info in and remove the old one.
If it does not let you change it, you might not be set up as a user with your role to do this. You will need to have the Admin give you access or have the Admin make the change. Hope this helps

I just cleared the cache, rebooted and tried again. I am not able to change the payment to checking account. It will only allow me to add another credit card

You'll want to ensure that you're using the correct login details to which the subscription is attached. If you have multiple email addresses, a quick tip to find the correct one is to search the inboxes. Once done, use the search feature (in your email inbox), then look for emails coming from us. Try using "QuickBooks Online" as your keyword.
If you're having issues logging in (or if you still can't find the correct account), you can recover the account. Go to https://c3.qbo.intuit.com/qbo3/login?webredir, then click the I forgot my user ID or Password link. Next, enter the phone number or email address associated with your subscription and proceed with Continue.
On a different note, this might be a browser cache issue. To see if this is the case, we can log in to your account using an incognito browser. Private browser prevents saving cache and cookies that sometimes cause errors when running frequently visited websites. Here are the useful shortcut keys you can use to access one:
Log in using the correct credentials, then check to see if you can access your company file. If you're able to do so, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. Every so often the cache becomes overwhelmed with older data which can potentially cause viewing and performance issues. Clearing it will refresh the system, and you'll be able to work with a clean slate. Switching to another compatible one to help rectify the issue.

Trying to update my billing details because the monthly payment has not gone through. Cleared cache etc but I still can't seem to get payment through. I have received a text from the bank that money has been deducted but the account QB profile does not reflect this payment.
