How do you file a formal complaint? Quickbooks will not add me as primary contact without copy of driver's licenses from bosses, which they will not provide, but they will keep a former employee on as primary. If this person knew she still had contact, she could steal all of our information but I guess that's ok with Quickbooks.
Reading through the threads, here in the community, it looks like there really is no surefire way to formally complain to anyone QB.
Your best bet, if in the United States, is to file a complaint with the better business bureau.

Good luck.
Ask your boss to claim the Primary Contact credential. Then your boss may transfer the role to you later.
Thank you for that idea! I didn't even think of that. I still don't understand why it has to be so hard. They are so concerned about the safety of our account that they will leave a former employee on our account to possibly steal our information. Makes no sense.
Basically it has to be so hard so that someone can't just call up and change things.
But as far as the former person stealing anything, I trust the LogIn Email & Password, Phone# and any other data has been changed at: https://accounts.intuit.com/app/account-manager
And for the email account of the prior person has been disabled or forwarded to the appropriate person, new Password and the Recovery details have been changed.
