You have the option to mark your products and services as inactive.
The option to completely delete products and services in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is unavailable at this time. Now, if you want to mark them as inactive, follow the steps below:
- Highlight the Sales tab.
- Select Products & services.
- Mark all the products and services you want to make inactive.
- Tap the Batch actions button.
- Choose Make inactive.
An easy way to enter your products and services in QBO is to import them. Go through the steps in this article to proceed: Import products and services into QuickBooks Online.
Be advised, you can also follow the steps on the article I provided if you need to overwrite several products and services. As long as they have the same name, that product or service will be overwritten with what you'll upload.
